5K Challege and 10K
Details

DISCLAIMER:

Snowflakes...this isn't for you...

This isn't the cushy road race that  you're used to. 

There is no official timing...there are no assigned corrals...

there are no wave starts. 

To win...you gotta be at the front of the pack at the start line...

when the cannon goes off.

you have to  go the distance, finish all the obstacles (on the 5K Challenge course)

and cross the finish line first...there's no points for 2nd place.

  Whining is not allowed. 

So before you consider signing up for this event, 

you really need to ask yourself...

"Am I tough enough?"

These race routes consist of a mixed surface of paved road way and the sands of Ocean View Beach....yes..you read that correctly... the beach...on the sand

Mermaid  Mile  Fun Run:

(for kids under 12 YOA and under)

 Nothing screams “Send it!” like a fun and challenging 1 mile long kids' fun run with an assortment of obstacles and 

PT challenges along the way… on the beach!  Bragging rights, cool medals, and sugar cookies are waiting for all you kiddos!

Free entry for every kid ! 

(We would suggest a minimum  a $10 donation to the SEA2C Foundation to help offset the cost of the finisher medals for them.)

The OV-OG

Challenge

 Complete both the 

Storm the Bay

5K Challenge AND 10K  Back to Back

To complete the OV-OG Challenge, the participants have 1 hour to complete the Storm the Bay 5K Challenge with obstacle courses, and be at the start line, ready to run and complete the Storm the Bay 10K at 9:00 AM. 

 

OV-OG Challenge Finishers will receive a total of THREE medals!  1 for the 5K Challenge, the 10K, and what is rumored to be

a really kick @$$ OV-OG Challenge Finishers Medal!
