COVA Brewing Co. is the official race headquarters for the Ocean View Storm the Bay Race Series!  Our doors opened in July of 2020, and since then, “Something’s Always Brewing”. From our craft coffee house or craft brewery, there’s something for everyone in our modern one-of-a-kind space.

The Tidewater Striders Track Club, more commonly known as the Tidewater Striders Running Club, was formed in September, 1972. The club has become the largest running club in the State of Virginia, and one of the ten largest in the United States as part of the Road Runners Club of America. Although the club was originally a haven for runners, it grew to incorporate the sports of race walking and multisport competition, such as the triathlon. Over the years many individuals have contributed to the success of the club, which has continually increased its influence in the Hampton Roads community.

he Ocean View Run club is an inclusive, supportive running group designed to enhance community health through fitness related events. OVRC welcomes runners, walkers, kids, and pups to join in on the fun.  The group run/walks start weekly at various local Ocean View businesses in an effort to also support the local businesses in our community. 

Bo's Tires and Rims have generously donated the tires for our obstacle course!  Bo’s Tires & Rims is the new face of a family owned business that was founded in 1971. “The Original Used Tire Store” was taken over by the current owners in 2001. In keeping up with the times the name was changed to “Bo’s Tires & Rims” in 2006.

With the new name comes with the same great service that has been bringing our customers back for years. As a shop we are also growing in the sales and installation of new and used rim and tire packages. This growth will allow us to offer a higher standard of customer service and product availability at a fraction of our competitors cost.

It all started when a local church wanted to be a lot more generous. The people of [OV]Church are a generous people, but their generosity exceeds their resources. This non-profit coffee shop will generate the extra funds needed to help the hurting, rehabilitate, and develop people in need in Norfolk, Va. All this will be accomplished by selling great coffee!

Coaster Coffee provides a “table” for people to connect with each other. A coffee shop is a comfortable, neutral place to meet with people around a table; something that is important for a transient, busy culture. The table is where life slows down and one can focus on people; their needs, wishes and desires.

Coaster Coffee is a neighborhood focused, friendly place offering customers the best prepared coffee in the area, complimented with specialty drinks, pastries, free books patrons can enjoy during their visit, and music to fit the mood. This coffee shop is an answer to the increasing demand for a neutral community meeting place in the greater  Ocean View area. People of all ages, races, beliefs and socio-economic standing are welcome.

Coaster Coffee is operating as a non-profit business. All profits go back into the community by feeding the hungry, building community gardens, teaching kids the arts and helping people who are out of work secure employment. Other creative ways to put resources back into the community to benefit our city will continue to be developed.
